Muslin will let the fine details of the jewelry stand out, which would have a hard time competing with dictionary pages. But - you could do a light wash of buff/ivory paint over top of the dictionary pages...stregatahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14573668708723922929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1463044390787455903.post-9689624993741650912011-04-21T17:56:17.481-05:002011-04-21T17:56:17.481-05:00He's super cool. I think I'm going to be picking a mannequin up this weekend. I have a choice of fabric or a plasticy or fiberglass or whatever they are made of. I think when I actually see them I'll know which one I want. I'm leaning towards the fabric one but her figure isn't as nice as the other hhhmmm.KristiBowmanDesignhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10015584159659853422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1463044390787455903.post-81178347951661148422011-04-19T15:06:55.081-05:002011-04-19T15:06:55.081-05:00Bud is neat!! I snatched it up before they could change their mind!! It would make for a nice neutral background and let your jewelry shine. Besides, I think muslin could have a nice vintagey feel as well.SummersStudiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10250150360701388415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1463044390787455903.post-16363944096428429552011-04-19T14:27:19.476-05:002011-04-19T14:27:19.476-05:00Oh, I like Bud! It makes me curse the disposal of the plastic bust I had years ago and threw away when it no longer suited my style of decor (I'd painted it hot pink and glued glitter all over it).

Also, check my most current blog entry for info about a dress form that's available at a Steinmart in my neck of the woods. They might be able to send it to you if you're interested. A few months ago Deryn Mentock mentioned that she'd gotten one at her Steinmart, so I immediately ran out to get one. There were two. Apparently, no one else wanted the other one and it's still there for $50!Heidi Posthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07843724107253315299noreply@blogger.com
