Meet Jake
Here is my buddy and house guest "Jake". Jake has been staying with us for about 2 weeks and will be staying another week or so. He is a good guest if you can get past the drooling and rolling all around on the carpets, the constant burping and occasional gas. He does smile lots and always wants to shake your hand. He listens very well and has not taken a bite out of the cats as of yet. Yes, cats ...we have two tabbys. Our gray tabby "Jack" likes to follow Jake around and noisy into his stuff, but he stays just far enough away but close enough to watch him. Sam our orange tabby just does not like dogs period, he scampers in and hides, if Jake looks at him he gives a good hiss and warning to stay away! Jake listens, like I said he does listen well. Jake is our very good friends dog and neighbor. He loves staying at our house, he gets a tad spoiled and lots of love.
OMG, look at that wonderful face. a dog like that doesn't know how to do wrong. how can you give him back when his people return? i'd have to hide him!
ReplyDeleteHe is gorgeous, and I just want to reach over and give him a biiiig hug!!
ReplyDeleteLook at that smile! Such a happy doggie!!!
ReplyDeletePS kids said that it was incredibly peaceful and quiet while they were up there parasailing. I was too chicken to do it.
I love dogs that look like they are smiling, drool and all!
ReplyDeleteHOw funny that Jake knows which cat to stay away from! After taking care of our daughters lab, I can tell you it must be normal for that breed to have bouts of gas!! Great dog..just aiming to please!
ReplyDeleteI have one of those choclatey, drooly, fuzzy, sweet boys of my own. They could be twins!
