I have been doing a little browsing on Etsy looking for some new tools. I think the New Year is a great time to try out some new techniques and add something different to my jewelry designs. These are the two items I would like to get but I would like some advice from anyone who uses these or something similar. I can't quite decide if its best to get a clear top for a dapping set or not. The clear makes sense but is it durable enough?
So, these two items will do it...oh yeah and add the root canal I had yesterday to my Christmas presents and I am all set! No fruit cake for me this year!
Oooo...I don't have any advice but right now I only have the inexpensive wood dapping block, I'd love to have the one pictured! I've been thinking that maybe I'll treat myself to one at Wirefest in April...hum...
ReplyDeleteHaha. Yep, I know what you mean. I have my presents taken care of until next Christmas due to my graduate school application fees.
ReplyDeleteRoot cana? Oh horror or horrors... yikes! :)
ReplyDeleteYou poor thing! You can't count a root canal as a Christmas present. That's not fair! I really can't help you out with advice on these tools. I'd love to have one of both. Hope to see you after Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG - a root canal - is there anything worse? Hope you feel better. I have the dapping block set like your pictures and I love it - I don't use it often but when I do, it works very well.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.
Sorry to hear about the dental work...but you survived and the worst is over I hope!
ReplyDeleteAs for the dapping blocks, I have one like the one on the top and love it! It can do amazing, quality cutting.
OMG Judy, do you personally know Father Christmas ? ;-) If yes, i need the same as you will choose !
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you dear friend.
