Green Amethyst

Last week I had purchased these stunning green amethyst gems from Mary my "bead lady". I knew I wanted to make something simple to showcase the gems. I wire wrapped them in sterling and oxidized them to give them an aged look. For the earrings I made some sterling links to make them dangle nicely. Although the green color did not photograph well, they are a soft green. You can find these beauties on my new website.

Don't forget about signing up for my giveaway it ends Sunday. You can enter here to win a custom initial Typewriter key pendant.

I am feeling a little "horsey" today and am missing these gals and little guy. Just wanted to share a favorite picture of mine. Although I look like a wreck, it's all about the horses.

  1. Judy, I love these. I don't wear much jewelry, but I do wear earrings. If they didn't dangle so much I would buy them.

You should get yourself a horse to love. You don't need to ride them to enjoy them. Just ask me!

  2. Judy, you look just as gorgeous as your necklace and earings. The sterling is just right for these pieces.

  5. Gorgeous sparklies you have here. I've been craving more gemstones like these lately too. They are perfect with your wire wrapping. Love the soft green color. Your picture with the horses makes me miss Tennessee. Hope to see you again this summer!
