Token Coin Bracelet

I just love using old objects and collectibles in my jewelry designs it makes them such a conversation piece. Here you have some vintage token coins used as connectors in this one of a kind bracelet. I love the agate beads in this and only wish I could find some more, I only had bought one strand from Mary my eccentric bead lady and now I am running out, oh well ...

I really should be starting my holiday decorating but I am saving it for the weekend when I can get in the mood. I feel like I am so behind in my decorating as all my neighborhood has decked out for a week or more. I do believe we are going to break down and buy an artificial tree. Back home in Massachusetts we could go anywhere within a few miles and cut down a fresh tree, here in Tennessee (at least where we live) it is not that easy. So, I am hoping to find a tree that I can put away without disassembling it each year. We have tons of great storage so it should work out ok, that would be one of the good benefits anyway. I can't wait to take out my ornaments, I love antique and vintage Christmas bulbs, they are my absolute favorites!!

Have you decorated your homes yet? What is your favorite item you take out every year?

Busy...busy

Busy day today, I worked at the antique shop and now I am home getting ready for a show on Saturday. I have to finish pricing and packing tonight as tomorrow I need to pick up my son Nick from college and then go set-up at the show. I love Friday evening set ups it makes the morning of the show so much easier and I am not far from the show at all. I have not done a craft show in about 8 years so I am really looking forward to this. I hope and pray I sell something! I am all set-up with Propay so that I may accept credit cards via my cell phone, hopefully this will help with sales as well.
Here is what I have so far:

Mirrors (can't sell if they can't see...)
alcohol wipes ( for those who must try on earrings)
bags, tissue paper, boxes
receipt pad
signs....booth and MC/Visa
Mailing list clipboard
...and all my great props for set up.
Can you think of anything else I may need?

Here are some of my favorites that I will have for sale....

Take me dancing earrings...

I am still working with beads and findings that I received from ArtBeads.com as part of their blogging program. Here we have a pair of "Take me dancing" earrings... Created using Artbeads Swarovski crystal pearls in the Bordeaux color and crystal roundelles . I love using these roundelles, they give a wonderful sparkle and a vintage look to any piece. To attach the beads to the ear wire I used another versatile component and that is a silverplated channel link in jet. I really like the way it makes the earring dangle while adding a little more sparkle. Modern sterling ear wires make these earrings very chic. Be sure to check out ArtBeads.com for all of your Swarovski elements...you can not go wrong with FREE SHIPPING on all items.

Listen Up...

This was such a fun bracelet to make! I think mainly because I do not make many things with fuchsia or pinks so it was like a little mood lifter so to speak. The fuchsia clay beads are from Aslan crafts , she makes awesome handmade polymer beads, the colors are so vibrant.
The focal point started from one half of an antique buckle, it has been hand stamped with "Talk Less....Say more" and oxidized to bring out the lettering. I hand forged a brass hook and a stamped brass washer are used for a clasp. A vintage filigree bead and a firepolished czech bead are added for a little bling. Measures: 7 3/4".

Tell me what you like about this bracelet the most or what you do not like....truly I can take it!
And don't forget about my blog giveaway be sure to sign up here!
Thanks!
