Talk Less Listen More

I just finished up two of these necklaces for a special order. Did you know there are websites just devoted to teach you how to talk less and listen more? I did not know until I googled (is that even a word?) it today.

I think I need to be a better listener....and not run my mouth or jump into a conversation while someone else is talking. Listen more...and be more attentive to the other person. I will try to do better, pause more and give the other person more attention.

How about you are you a good listener?
So for today, give it a try...Talk less, Listen more.

  2. Love the pendant! I tend to talk too much when I'm nervous. On a normal day I'm too quiet. Sheesh, maybe I need to take on of those classes on how to be social.

  3. I love the necklace and your stamping is awesome! I think I am a good listener, that is the one thing I took from PLDC (Primary Leadership Development Course) from the Army. They teach you to listen while you are doing your counseling of your soldiers and I still incorporate that in my daily life. You make eye contact and listen as your soldier talks, but now I do this in the civilian world, I look at you as you talk and I think that makes your friends feel like you are listening.

  4. Love the pendant Judy...and NO! I'm not a good listener, or maybe I listen and just can't remember? Either way...

  5. Beautiful and so true. I think all of us need this reminder because it makes our connections with people so much deeper. Listening is an art form in and of itself.
