Vintage Button Earrings

I could not resist working with these vintage glass buttons, even though the buttons seem a bit like spring, I think the earrings would pair nicely with warmer fall clothes.
The red Czech glass beads are so deep in color and I especially love the picasso finish on them.
You can find these on Etsy

Flying Heart

Lordy...my last jewelry posts have all been bracelets, I think I am in need of an intervention!
Here is an etched cuff style bracelet that I thought would be perfect for this time of year.

Miss Ficklemedia's russet patina gave depth to this brass focal. I gently buffed the heart to bring back the shine before applying the sealers. Red creek jasper and a handmade pottery bead adds more color and texture.

Don't you just love that jasper??
You can find this piece is my Etsy shop.

Special Order

I am trying to finish up some special orders this week. I especially love this fun colorful bracelet I made for one of my blog readers. This bracelet features some awesome handmade polymer clay beads from Aslan Crafts on Etsy, I just love these beads and their cool shape. Originally I wanted to pair them with a citrine color that is found in the floral design but It really did not look so great. So after rummaging through all my stash I improvised....

...I took these chunky silver plated metal beads and torched them! They turned a really great shade of "old gold" with hints of iridescence and shades of gray, so hard to explain but I am so pleased!

 ...and don't forget...
I am having a sweet little giveaway that ends tomorrow at 12 noon, so be sure to go and check it out! You can enter HERE.

Yesterday and Today

T
oday I share with you a vintage yesterday's treasure turned today's modern chic.

I love to rejuvenate most anything, especially antique and vintage jewelry. I found these lovely earring remnants at an antique shop and I just knew with a little love they would once again be a beautiful pair of earrings. Sterling oxidized wire wrapped haphazardly and modern sterling ear wires brings life back into the chunky red glass gems.

You can find these Red red wine earrings in my Artfire shop "Merlot".

Peppermint Fresh Milk Glass Necklace

T
his piece reminds me of those red and white peppermint candies that we all love so much, and besides the minty fresh taste they are pretty to look at too!

The focal piece in this necklace is a vintage milk glass brooch fashioned as a pendant. Wonderful faceted white glass beads, faceted red jade beads along with a composite mosaic bead all add to the color and design in this piece. Antique bronze metal bead caps are used to dress it up. Pieces of an antique watch fob chain and hand forged brass hooks finish out this vintage inspired necklace. Measures: 17". You can check this out on Etsy.
