I have been working on some more etched pieces and am pretty pleased how they came out. I liked using the torch on these as well, for color and patina. It is fun to try to get the color where you want it, sometimes I amaze myself and it actually works as planned.
I plan on working in my studio tonight with some of these pieces, maybe tomorrow I can share them with you.
Have a great Friday!
These pieces are lovely Judy...can't wait to see what you do with them. I really need to try etching...
ReplyDeleteThese are great Judy...something else I want to try.
ReplyDeleteYour etched pieces are very intriguing. Happy creating with them...
ReplyDeleteThe colors of the "inspire"-pendant are incredible!
ReplyDeleteThey look great! I'm going to try my hand at selling some etched pieces at a bead bazaar this weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhoa - that "inspire" pendant is fantastic! Love the colors!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful!! Is there are tutorial online somewhere using Muriatic Acid? I would love to try it.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Connie
really lovely - you got the peacock feather tinted perfectly... getting so good at the torching...
ReplyDeleteWonderful, Judy! Can't wait to see what you do with these!
ReplyDeleteThose are fantastic! This is a technique I haven't tried yet.
ReplyDeleteLove them. You got some nice deep etching too.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could figure out why sometime I get good deep etches and sometimes I don't? Argg.
Very, very cool!
