Show signs and advertising

I wanted to share with you a great and inexpensive way to advertise your business. A little over a month ago I ordered two large car magnets from Vistaprint, using an uploaded design of the front of my business card. When I went to their site my original intention was to order a banner, but I felt the banner was so large and too intrusive for my display. I saw the  large car magnets (17.3 x 11.25) and liked the look of them and thought I would order that. When they arrived I was so pleased at the coloring and gloss, they were awesome! I went and looked at all of my old frames that I use in my display and the magnet fit into one of them perfectly, I already had chicken wire on the frame so it stuck to it so problem, Voila, instant sign! The other magnet I use on the car when I am doing shows, so I get a little extra advertising in while traveling. Vistaprint is always having some type of sale so I am sure you can get them at a good price. I paid less than $35 including postage.

I will give you a little update on my medical situation....I saw my surgeon today and have surgery scheduled for Dec. 8th to remove about a fist size area from my right leg. They will also be doing a skin graft and doing a dye injection into my lymph nodes to check for metastasis of the melanoma. Once that is done we will know what kind of treatment will follow, if any. Thanks for all of your kind words and thoughts on my previous post, it means so much!

  1. Looks like a store display! So beautiful.
I use a website called ebates:
    http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=5RXbeKexzqqXOE%2B8L2nzbQ%3D%3D

that pays you back a percentage for shopping and 1 of the sites is VistaPrint!
I use them all the time and I have been wondering about banner vs something else. I am off to order a magnet, thanks.
I will be praying for you.

  5. Judy-
I don't know how I have missed all your delightful key pieces of late. You know that I love them! And your etching makes me swoon. I really need to do more on my etching experiments with the E3... I just know that you would love that.

But more importantly, I am not sure how I missed your latest news. I am praying for you... you have been moved to the top of the list. Stay strong and positive. Focus your energies where they need to be. Be still and know that you are being watched over.

    Breathe deep. Seek peace.

And I know that things may not be too peachy keen, but it really is true that there is something good in every day. Find your something good, Judy.

    Enjoy the day.

  8. Your magnet sign is both beautiful and ingenius! Thanks for sharing the idea. I love Vista Print for my biz cards but never thought about trying any other products. Your display table is lovely!!!

Best of luck on your surgery. In May my mom had something similar done on her back, but it was quite a bit larger--too large to do a skin graft. They used a machine (Wound Vac) which used suction to keep the wound clean, pull the skin together and also grow new skin. Worked like a charm. Sorry if that's TMI.

I'll be praying for a swift recovery and that the cancer has not spread. Take care and let someone pamper you while you heal. In the mean time, enjoy Thanksgiving with friends and family!
