I have had this fascination for elephants ever since I was a child and had read a poem my Dad had written called "Elephants never die they just go away". My interest further intensified after reading the book Moduc (a beautiful elephant story),it is one of my favorite books. So when I came across this film trailer on You-tube I thought I would share it. It seems like such an amazing story and I will look forward to seeing this film when it comes out on the Oprah network.
Judy, if you've never seen The Elephant Walk movie (1954) you must see it! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0046951/ I want to watch your film but my husband is snoring so peacefully I'm afraid I'll wake him up! In the morning for sure!
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting, happy, and sad all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that clipped tugged at my heart. I love Elephants and they are generally so mis-understood. This man loves her so and she loves him, I hope there is a wonderful ending to the story. I recognize the woman in the clip from the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee (I think) they are wonderful it's hard to believe they couldn't make it work.
ReplyDeleteHere's an update Judy, in case you didn't already know. She is now at the Elephant Sanctuary. What a relief!!! http://www.elephants.com/flora/floraBio.php
