Aluminum Words

One of my Texas finds was a aluminum printing plate, it is thin and easy to cut and I knew it had endless possibilities. Last night I finished this bracelet. I think it offers a lot visually and is so super lightweight.
I plan on making some earrings as well and thinking of making some rolled beads from the aluminum, I will let you know how that goes.

Hope everyone is well and stocked up on candy for all of the tricksters!

  1. Very interesting. I've never seen such a thing. Your bracelet is lovely. I like the contrast between the antique brass and the aluminum.

  3. Aww, you just get better and better. I love the way you've layered printing plate with other materials. Well done.

To heck with laying in provisions for the tricksters, which we've done. It's cold here. Like 40 degree cold. The heat is on. I think we need to lay in a winter stock for ourselves.

  5. Love how you framed the pieces. But is is really a printing plate? Shouldn't the text be backwards then? Whatever - the bracelet is great, love the text behind the buttons.
